House Democrats have said they will not support a continuing resolution to avoid a shutdown if Republicans insist on speeding an Affordable Care Act repeal bill through the legislature this week. “If Republicans announce their intention to bring their harmful TrumpCare bill to the House Floor tomorrow or Saturday, I will oppose a one-week Continuing Resolution and will advise House Democrats to oppose it as well,” House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) told The Hill. Congress has until midnight tomorrow night to pass a budget resolution.
