Public Spend Forum’s GovShop Partners with Fandes and XPDEL to Launch Online PPE Marketplace

GovShop is excited to announce the launch of a PPE and COVID-19 Tech Products marketplace, in collaboration with Fandes, an e-commerce marketplace. Through this marketplace, GovShop and Fandes are providing a growing list of PPE, testing kits, and COVID-19-related technology products from vetted suppliers, including competitive pricing and insights into product availability for urgent needs. Order fulfillment is provided by XPDEL, a nationwide network of eCommerce fulfillment centers.

Sourcing the Unknown: Better Done Together

Through GovShop, its free supplier and contract intelligence platform, PSF provides comprehensive supplier and contract data across all markets. In response to COVID-19, their team is collaborating with the Defense Joint Task Force, National Governor’s Association, and healthcare organizations like AHRMM to verify suppliers and compile the largest free supply-chain data set on COVID-19-related product inventory, capacity and availability.

Public Spend Forum (PSF), a Washington D.C.-based startup focused on providing public sector supplier intelligence, launched a COVID-19 Supplier Survey in partnership with NC State University’s Supply Chain Resource Cooperative.

The survey and ongoing supplier research efforts by PSF and NC State have three primary objectives including 1) understanding the capacity and ability of suppliers to meet demand for critical equipment and supplies, 2) verify suppliers in order to increase quality and reduce fraudulent supply chain activity and 3) develop a network optimization model that can be used to better match demand and supply.
