NASA is seeking to address barriers with advanced technology in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. Specifically, the organization is looking to apply AI to aeronautics, operations, human capital, and IT support. 

Improvements to projects can take significant strides with machine learning as much more precise changes can be made –– saving time and money while advancing projects into new, previously unrealized realms. Little adjustments like antenna positioning are coupled with high-stakes changes made to vessels and equipment when AI is incorporated.
