The National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) has released the results of its 2016 State Procurement Practices Survey, a comprehensive look at how procurement practices, policies and regulations shake out around the country. You can read the whole report here, or view NASPO’s interactive survey results on the association’s site.

There are some interesting insights, including that a quarter of all states don’t have centralized procurement offices with statutory authority across all areas of procurement, and that three states still aren’t using some sort of eProcurement or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to manage their procurement.
