Jason Macy, CTO of Forum Systems, writes that while the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the General Services Administration (GSA) may have the right idea when it comes to the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) cybersecurity program, in terms of streamlining acquisition processes and simplifying risk management, it still needs an overhaul. Macy writes that the program does not focus on the right technology or the right approaches to stop cyberattacks.
