A Let’s Stop Corruption Foundation think tank pointed out a non-transparent procurement in the Slovakian ministry’s St Michal Hospital. It involved a tender for the purchase of the complex medical equipment and for catering for patients and employees. The Public Procurement Office has confirmed flaws in the competition through limiting it in a way so that fewer potential bidders could have expressed interest, but the hospital contests this. The Public Procurement Office confirmed 13 violations of law, six of which may have impacted the tender results and one that definitely impacted them, writes The Slovak Spectator, where you can see a full report.
