Britain’s high speed railway project, HS2, which aims to link London, Birmingham, the East Midlands, Leeds and Manchester to over 30 million people has been beset with criticisms. Now Spanish manufacturer Talgo has begun legal action after what it claims was a “botched procurement” process. They are challenging the fact that HS2 has allowed rival CAF back into the process after its own legal challenge, and wants it either excluded or the process to be restarted.
