The UK Cabinet Office has announced wide-ranging plans to better analyse supplier finances and performance. They will require suppliers to reveal more information about their financial health as part of government changes following the Carillion collapse. A government database will track up to five key performance indicators (KPIs) of major contracts with external suppliers. “Whitehall commercial professionals will also be equipped with a tool allowing them to analyse and track data on contracts and suppliers,” writes PublicTechnology.
