A study from Capgemini in conjunction with consortium partners Sogeti, IDC and Politecnico di Milano, highlights the status of Europe’s digital government transformation and looks at how far public sector organisations are taking the steps necessary to achieve shared eGovernment goals. It finds that “further reuse and transparency of personal data is needed to secure an efficient and effective eGovernment for all citizens.” It has assessed more than 10,000 websites across all EU countries and reveals that the European public sector continues to bring more services online as overall Europe’s eGovernment performance is steadily progressing.
