The Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Procurement Excellence Programme is a globally recognised award demonstrating how well organisations are performing with their procurement and supply chain activities. The Ministry of Justice (one of the UK’s largest government departments) has achieved the Advanced-level Silver Award, demonstrating its commitment to tackle its challenges following a performance assessment two years ago that gave it a ‘traffic-light’ rating from green to red for its procurement’s leadership, skills and systems capability.
