Nominees for the 2019 Smarter Working Awards organised by the UK Government Property Agency have been revealed. 12 government organisations are recognised for their achievements in driving smart working transformation across the civil service and wider public sector. The awards recognise best practice in the civil service as part of its aim to create working environments that empower staff and make best use of workplaces and technology, while also realising savings for the taxpayer. The Government Estate Strategy published last year a commitment for all departments to implement smarter working by the end of 2022.
