EU Start-ups has published the a list and synopsis of the most recent 10 European start-up firms which have harnessed digital tools to revitalise democracy and government services across Europe and bring innovative solutions to public services. They have the potential to boost government efficiency, transparency, responsiveness, and citizen trust, it says. For example, Berlin-based Polyteia provides a data analytics and visualisation platform which connects city and municipal data from multiple sources with local government decision-makers.
