A voice and data connectivity framework, estimated at between £75m and £350m, has been cancelled by The UK Foreign Office. It was awarded as a five-year contract, carried out in association with the Department for International Development and the British Council, to provide connectivity services to about 550 sites in 170 countries, connecting UK head offices to embassies, consulates and other overseas offices. The decision to abort was taken after a near draw between two bidders. Read more on public technology.net.
