The Defense Contract Management Agency’s Commerical Item Group (CIG) recently released their initial paper on evaluating price. CIG created this paper to assist Agreement Officers (AOs) with performing price analysis in an Other Transaction (OT) environment.

This document is divided into three sections that cover (1) Price Forces – Economic Forces at play within the OT environment, (2) Price Considerations – How to evaluate price, and (3) Alternative Resources – DoD & external resources.
