The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works will allow for an extension to unveil a revised Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) headquarters plan. In return, the General Services Administration and the FBI will be asked to provide more detail on how they will finance the 2.1 million-square-foot facility (expected to cost around $2.5 billion) and address budgetary scoring rules some say have complicated the costly undertaking.
