Emerging Tech unmanned aerial system meets COVID-19 vaccine in this latest innovation.  Zipline, a medical drone startup, delivers critical life-saving products precisely where and when they are needed, safely and reliably, every day, across multiple countries. According to Emerging Tech Brew, this seven-year-old startup will be developing end-to-end cold chain capabilities with an unnamed Covid vaccine manufacturer. By this April, Zipline will be playing an active role in sending vaccines to countries such as Rwanda, Ghana, and Nigeria.

Drone delivery is already plenty difficult, but when you add in the requirement for the vaccines to be stored in ultracold refrigeration, things get harder Even though Zipline operates the world’s largest drone delivery network, the technology needed for these Ice Age requirements is just another obstacle for the company to overcome.
