Bridging the Silicon Valley-Washington Divide – Bloomberg Editorial

Bloomberg has an interesting look at the ongoing legal battle between the Department of Defense (DoD) and Palantir Technologies. A federal judge ruled Monday that the U.S. Army has to rebid a contract worth about $200 million for an “integrated combat data system.” Palantir had argued that the requirements were too restrictive, and Bloomberg looks at the cultural divides between Silicon Valley companies and the Pentagon as the latter tries to work with the former.

What do you think? Does this speak to a larger problem DoD faces when trying to court Silicon Valley companies?
