On July 24, Dr. Steven Kelman, Professor of Public Management at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government presented a webinar for suppliers interested in entering the government market. “Selling in the Government – Understand How the Government is Different and What That Means for Your Strategy” provided unique insights on the differences between public and private sector business development and shared advice on what suppliers can do to sell effectively in the federal market.

Along with co-host Raj Sharma, Chairman of Public Spend Forum, Dr. Kelman covered disclosure of financial information and ownership of IP, rules for bid selection and evaluation, and compliance requirements for public policy.
